Agnidev Sen (Rajatabha Dutta) is a shipping tycoon is very obsessive and protective about her daughter Pooja (Subhashree Ganguly). He does not allow any boy even to look at her. If anybody dares, his pack of goons gives him a heavy treat. Even blinding may be the treat if needed. Pooja’s classmate Abir (Dev) falls in love with Pooja. Pooja also starts mixing with a boy which was not allowed by her father. But when Agnidev comes to know about this affair he becomes angry and arranges a marriage of her daughter with a boy selected by him. But when her daughter denies to marry he asked his goons to ransack Abir’s home. In return Abir teaches the goons a very good lesson. Abir goes straight to Agnidev and says him to get prepared for the marriage of her daughter with him. He also throws him a challenge to stop this marriage. And at the end what might happen every body can easily guess. In that respect from this point the film is very very predictable. But inspite of this predictability the film sustains because of the chemistry of the two lead pairs. For the first time Dev has left over his old chocolate boy image. In this film he has become a macho-man, angry action hero. And Subhashree a soft, like a Barbie doll. This opposite nature has made the magic.
